This will be used for budgeting confirmation and comparison at bid opening. <br />3) Final Special Provisions: Final revisions and modifications to the special provisions and front- <br />end bid documents. <br /> <br />4) White Goods Revised Loading Facility <br />♦ During the course of construction, the County identified an additional need at the Transfer <br />Facility known as the “White Goods Loading Facility”. SCJ was tasked with developing an <br />additional design and change order package for the Contractor. This additional work <br />consisted of the following: <br />♦ Review loading dock design at Ellensburg facility. <br />♦ Determination of design vehicle <br />♦ Preliminary layout of dock utilizing Autoturn analysis for egress and exit <br />♦ Review preliminary layout with client. <br />♦ Update layout and Autotrun analysis per County input. <br />♦ CAD design for loading facility, final location and grading. <br />♦ Design and drafting of retaining wall, footings and reinforcing steel <br />♦ Coordinating with Contractor and negotiating a change order for the added work. <br />Task 5 Bidding and Construction Engineering Services <br />This amendment describes the additional work that was added to this task during the time of bidding and <br />adding construction administration services to the project. This project was estimated to start the week of <br />May 3, 2026 and continue through September 2026. <br />1) Construction Phase Project Management: Progress updates, project setup, invoicing, and <br />County coordination. <br /> <br />2) Preconstruction Services: Bid tabulations and bid proposal review, pre-construction meeting. <br /> <br />3) Office Engineering: Statements of intents prime and subcontractors, payroll requirements. <br /> <br />4) Construction Observation: Periodic site visits to check construction. Answer contractor <br />construction questions and respond to information requests. Construction meetings. <br /> <br />5) Contract administration: Review and approve contractor material submittals, monitor and <br />check force account work, measure and review work completed for pay requests, and process <br />change orders. <br /> <br />6) Contract Closeout: Review project at completion and provide a punch list to contractor, project <br />completion letters, and final record drawings.
