WATERS <br />H ungry J unction lmprovement Proiect June 4,2O25 <br />Task 3 Design Support <br />Natural Waters will work with KCPW to incorporate the proposed design into the project plans <br />and specifications. <br />Task 3.1 3Aoh,9Ao/o and 100% Design Support <br />Natural waters will assist KCpw in developing and reviewing design details and special provisions <br />related to hydraulics aspects during 30o/o,9OYo and LOO% design. <br />Assumptions: <br />o All CAD work and plan sheet development will be performed by KCPW staff. <br />r Standard specifications and special provisions will follow WSDOT standards. <br />o Up to 20 hours is available for Task 3.1. <br />Task 3.2 Temporary Stream Diversion Concept Assistance <br />Natural Waters will assist KCPW using available data to assess potential flows during the <br />anticipated construction window provided KCPW. lt is recommended for KCPW to measure flows <br />during the summe r of 2O25 to better understand flows since Reecer Creek does not contain any <br />stream gages. Flows will be assessed with the HY-8 to determine a conceptual culvert size that <br />can be included in the special provision as part of the construction contract. <br />Assumptions: <br />o Up to 8 hours is available for Task 3.2. <br />Task 4 Management Reserve <br />KCpW may require additional services or an expanded level of effort for the tasks listed in this <br />scope of work. The scope of additional services will be determined at the sole discretion of Kittitas <br />County. <br />5lPage
