Of these eight collisions, four collisions were intersection-related. Three
collisions resulted in a possible or minor injury and all were vehicle-only
collisions.
3 Possible or minor
collisions
Of the 8 collisions:
All
Access Management
Sidewalks
Roadway Reconfi guration
Systematic Application of Multiple
Low-Cost Countermeasures at
Stop-Controlled I ntersections
Mini-Roundabout
Crosswalk
RRFB
lntersection t9%
4 *,,,",or,"
Were intersection-
related
. For
example, private parking lots are
divided by Hyak Drive E, resulting
in pedestrians walking down the
roadway to access the ski area.
. Sufficient budget must be allocated for renewing pavement
markings for the proposed solutions to be effective.
' AADT information is not available for local County roads.
t CRF5 are approximated based on the data provided by the FHWA Proven Safety Countermeasures.
+ Costs are based on a preliminary engineer's estimate of magnitude.
38o/ot F el:,,t'::"*;ei:-.'?';..is "rl:as
Application Crash reduction
factort
Cost
level+Countermeasure
