In closing, most residents of Easton want the enforcement of the current Rural zoning laws for <br /> the area where they purchased their property. R-3 or R-5 zoning. We do not want mass <br /> development by developers or Easton to be turned into a tourist town like Roslyn, <br /> Leavenworth or Lake Chelan. We prefer the quiet, rural area. After all, it takes a long time for <br /> law enforcement to respond to an incident in Easton.
