The Committee finds that the applicant proposes installation of two MUTCD compliant <br /> object marker signs at the end of the bridge, on each side, as well as "One Lane Bridge" <br /> warning signs in both directions. The bridge will be designed to meet the minimum load <br /> capacity of HL-93. <br /> The project will maintain adequate sight distance and manage vegetation. In addition, a 20- <br /> foot-wide by 50-foot-long pullout area will be provided in advance of the 100 foot bridge to <br /> allow vehicles to pass safely. <br /> 5. The Committee finds that an open record hearing was held on May 20th, 2026, and that <br /> testimony was taken from those persons present who wished to be heard. <br /> 6. The Committee finds that the proposal is/is not in the public interest and that the <br /> requirements for safety function, fire protection, appearance and maintainability are fully <br /> met as required by Kittitas County Code (KCC) 12.01.130. <br /> 7.
