Project plan sheets 30 through 45 are <br /> attached for review. <br /> The adjusted average daily traffic (AADT) on W Taneum Rd, measured at milepost 2.96 in 2024, <br /> is 144 vehicles per day. Taneum Road has one reported traffic accident within the past five <br /> years. <br /> Permits: Parcel 346333 does not have any active permits. <br /> Location: Parcel 346333 is located on W Taneum Rd in Thorp, WA. It is located in Township 18N, <br /> Range 16E, Section 1. <br /> II. POLICY AND REGULATORY REQUIREMENTS IN RELATION TO REQUEST <br /> The proposal for a variance is to waive the 2024 Kittitas County Road Standards, Table 12.04.07- <br /> 1, Minimum Driveway Standards, specifically: <br /> > Driveways longer than 150 feet are required to be 16 feet wide with 2 feet of clear <br /> zone on each side. <br /> > Placement of 16 foot wide private driveway bridge. <br /> >Access requirements shall be limited to the realigned portion of access associated with <br /> parcel 346333. <br /> III. SUGGESTED FINDING OF FACTS <br /> This matter having come before the Road Variance Committee upon the above referenced Road <br /> Variance Application submitted by Tara O'Rourke, in conjunction with Yakama Nation and the <br /> Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife, the Road Variance Committee makes the following <br /> Findings of Facts, Conclusions of Law and Decision related to the above referenced matter: <br /> 1. The Road Variance Committee finds that Tara O'Rourke submitted a road variance <br /> application on April 241h, 2026. <br /> 2. The subject property is located on W Taneum Road, Thorp WA. <br /> 3.
