While
total volumes may differ between October
and February or between weekdays and
weekends, overall travel patterns and
trends remain consistent across all
scenarios.*
OCTOBER
Analysis of October volumes provided a baseline
for non-winter conditions in Snoqualmie Pass.
Figure 20 presents October 2024 weekend
vehicle volumes, including total daily volumes
along roadway segments and peak hour approach
volumes at intersections.
The segment with the highest daily average volume
during both weekdays and weekends in October
was SR 906 between Exit 52 and Guye Peak Lane.
For both weekdays and weekends in October, the
intersections with the highest peak hour volumes
were the intersection of Exit 52 I-90 Eastbound
Off-Ramp & SR 906 (Location 1), the intersection
of SR 906 & Guye Peak Lane (Location 2), and the
intersection of SR 906 & Hyak Drive E (Location 8),
as shown in Figure 20.
* See Appendix F for traffic volume maps corresponding to the October 2024
weekday, February 2025 weekday, and February 2025 weekend scenarios.
Figure 20.
