Response 4.3: Is there a host hotel for your event or grant project? If yes, list the hotel.*
5| Future Plans
Response 5: Please explain what plans exist to allow this project to become self-sustaining. Include any plans for ticket sales,
event sponsors, and other cost-recovery models.*
No
Yes Holiday Inn Express
1. Reinvestment & Revenue Growth
• Profit Allocation: A portion of profits from each event will be reinvested into future shows to strengthen marketing, expand
programming, and enhance the overall attendee and vendor experience.
• Vendor & Admission Fees: We will conduct regular evaluations of vendor fees and ticket pricing to ensure they remain
affordable while supporting financial sustainability.
2. Sponsorship Development
• We are actively pursuing sponsorships from local businesses and organizations. Sponsors will benefit from event visibility,
cross-promotion, and the opportunity to be recognized as community partners, while their support offsets event costs and
increases our
marketing capacity.
3. Collaborative Partnerships
• By continuing to partner with local restaurants, lodging establishments, nonprofits, and other community events, we expand our
audience reach, share resources, and reduce marketing costs through joint promotions.
4. In-Kind Contributions
• We plan to increase the use of in-kind trade, working with local vendors and service providers who can contribute to goods or
services in exchange for promotional opportunities. This approach reduces expenses while strengthening community ties.
5. Cost Recovery & Contingency Planning
• We are mindful of rising venue costs and the need to maintain accessible facilities. Our long-term plan includes evaluating
alternative venues and cost-recovery models to ensure the event remains financially viable, even as expenses change.
6. Ongoing Monitoring & Adaptability
• We will regularly analyze attendance trends, community feedback, and financial data to guide decisions on pricing,
programming, and resource allocation. This data-driven approach ensures we can adapt to evolving market conditions and
continue meeting
community needs.
By combining these strategies, Junk-tiquen will not only sustain itself year after year but also grow as a signature event that
generates economic impact, fosters community pride, and creates lasting value for Kittitas County.
2500 character limit
Application Questions: Part 4
6| Additional Information
