Response 4.1: If your organization collaborates or has created partnerships with other organizations, groups, or other events,
how is this accomplished?*
Response 4.2: Describe how you will promote lodging establishments, restaurants, and business located in Kittitas County *
Collaboration is at the heart of what we do. As an event organizer, I recognize that building strong partnerships with local
businesses, nonprofits, and community organizations not only strengthens our event but also creates shared success across the
community. These partnerships expand our reach, diversify our audience, and generate meaningful economic and social impact.
Key Partnerships Include:
• Kittitas County Chamber of Commerce – We leverage member promotions, bulletins, and networking opportunities to increase
visibility and direct attendees to local resources.
• Local Businesses & Markets (Jensen Farms, Thorp Fruit & Antique Mall, Sassy Trash Market, Ellensburg Night Market, The
Barn Door) – Through flyer distribution, social media collaboration, and cross-promotion, we attract a wider range of visitors and
highlight local
agriculture and artisan businesses.
• Hospitality Partners (Holiday Inn Express) – We secure room blocks for attendees, ensuring convenient accommodations that
support tourism and local lodging.
• Tasting Rooms & Restaurants (Valo Tasting Room, Gard Vintners, Ellensburg Pasta, Bruce’s Place, Kittitas Café, Sunset Café)
– Discount promotions and cross-advertising campaigns help drive traffic to these establishments while enriching the visitor
experience.
• Nonprofits & Community Groups (Menastash Grange 1054, and various Young Entrepreneurs in Kittitas County) – We provide
donated space for fundraising efforts, youth entrepreneurs, and community initiatives, creating opportunities for engagement and
support
beyond the event itself.
By fostering these collaborations, our event becomes more than a gathering, it serves as a platform for local businesses,
nonprofits, and community members to thrive together. Each partnership is designed to be mutually beneficial, whether by
increasing exposure, generating revenue, or building community connections.
These efforts not only strengthen the event but also contribute to the broader economic and cultural vitality of Kittitas County.
Our goal is to ensure that attendees leave with a sense of connection, to the community, to local businesses, and to each other,
creating a ripple effect of positive impact that extends far beyond the event itself.
2500 character limit
Promoting lodging establishments, restaurants, and businesses in Kittitas County is a core element of our event marketing
strategy. We want visitors to view Junk-tiquen not as a single event, but as an opportunity to discover the full range of
experiences our community offers. By integrating local businesses into our outreach, we create a more complete visitor
experience while supporting the county’s economic vitality.
Website & Digital Presence:
• Accommodations Listings: We highlight area hotels and inns on our website, including information about special room blocks
and rates secured for Junk-tiquen attendees.
• Dining Guides: Local restaurants and cafes are featured with links to menus, promotions, and special offers for visitors.
• Community Connections: We provide links to downtown associations, wineries, tasting rooms, and other local events to
encourage extended stays and exploration.
Collaborative Promotions:
• Discount Programs: We partner with restaurants, tasting rooms, and shops to create exclusive promotions for attendees.
These offers are shared through social media, email campaigns, and printed materials, providing direct incentives for visitors to
dine and shop
locally.
• Cross-Marketing: Businesses share our event information while we promote their services, creating mutual visibility and shared
audiences.
• Print & On-Site Materials: Flyers, posters, and event guides highlight local establishments, ensuring visitors have easy access
to nearby dining, lodging, and shopping opportunities.
Visitor Experience Enhancement:
This cross-promotional approach ensures attendees feel connected not only to the event but also to the wider Kittitas County
community. By weaving in local businesses at every stage—before, during, and after the event—we help drive tourism dollars
into the community and encourage repeat visits.
2500 character limit
