If yes, list the hotel.* <br />5| Future Plans <br />Response 2.2: Describe the prior success of your event/activity/facility to attract tourists.* <br />Our tournament brand has grown year over year for baseball. in 2022 we hosted 3 small events with around 30 teams per <br />weekend. In 2024 we added 5 basketball tournaments that had 50 teams on average as well as a 3v3 basketball tournament <br />and a soccer tournament that we partnered with the Pumas in order to provide a local option for local families. We have 4 <br />Washington State Basketball State Qualifying events that attract basketball teams from all over. In 2026, we project to have over <br />450 baseball teams and 350 basketball teams visit the Kittitas Valley to participate in our events. <br />2500 character limit <br />Application Questions: Part 2 <br />We promote our events on our website, our mobile app, to our email database of over 20,000 families and 1,000 coaches / <br />teams. We also make consistent posts in Northwest Travel Baseball amongst other prevalent baseball groups on Facebook. We <br />also use meta paid ads to target specific regions of the PNW. For basketball, we have sanctioned our events with AAU which <br />has helped attract contacts throughout the Inland Empire database. Our primary business is based on the I5 corridor where we <br />run over 40 events 8-18u with consistently over 100 teams per weekend. We leverage this database to attract both baseball and <br />basketball teams to Ellensburg. <br />2500 character limit <br />Application Questions: Part 3 <br />Ellensburg Youth Baseball and Softball. The baseball tournaments we run at Rotary allows for the EYBS program to generate <br />revenue through concessions. This has proven to be a significant amount year over year. We have a partnership with RIS3 <br />Academy and Hoops 4 Hearts / Iron Horse Brewery where we ran a 3v3 basketball tournament to raise funds and awareness <br />about congenital heart disease. **Not Secured** but have had discussions about partnering up our baseball tournament the <br />same weekend as the Bares and Broncs event to bolster their attendance and provide an attraction / event for our families this <br />weekend. We sponsor teams for EYBS, we sponsor the rodeo. We have collaborated with the Kittitas County Cowboys to <br />provide free tournaments in exchange for some field work in order to keep local kids playing for cheap and not having to travel to <br />find competitive baseball. We collaborated with Cle Elum Basketball in 2024 to help secure the SURC for growing their Mountain <br />Madness basketball tournament. We also provide umpires for EYBS at no charge other than the game fee for officials (no <br />assigning fee or overhead). <br />2500 character limit <br />We will promote lodging establishments through our website and mobile app with a third party (Lucid Travel) that works similarly <br />to hotels.com or Expedia. Once we set the location on our registration, it advertises local hotels. We web wrap this onto our <br />website in addition to emailing out to parents / coaches and sending a push notification to all registered families for each event. <br />As for local restaurants and businesses, I met with the EDA this summer to discuss working together to establish a one pager or <br />digital flyer to promote local business to families coming into town. <br />2500 character limit <br />No <br />Yes
