Response 4.1: If your organization collaborates or has created partnerships with other organizations, groups, or other events,
how is this accomplished?*
The Downtown Cle Elum Association (CEDA) actively cultivates partnerships with a wide variety of organizations, groups, and
events to maximize impact, share resources, and attract visitors. Collaboration is accomplished through structured outreach,
shared planning, and mutual promotion:
Local Businesses and Retailers: CEDA engages directly with downtown retailers, restaurants, and service providers to
coordinate event participation, cross-promote activities, and distribute marketing materials. This includes rack cards, flyers, and
QR codes linking to event landing pages and the business directory. Feedback from business owners informs event planning,
visitor services, and promotional strategies.
Regional and Statewide Organizations: Partnerships with entities such as Dru Bru, UKC Medic One, local schools, civic groups,
and Main Street communities extend marketing reach and provide operational support for events. CEDA collaborates on
programming, publicity, and sponsorship, creating a shared investment in attracting tourists.
Lodging and Hospitality Partners: CEDA works with local hotels, resorts, and Airbnb hosts to distribute event materials, feature
links on websites, and encourage social media tagging. This increases awareness of downtown events and drives overnight
stays.
Event and Tourism Coordination: CEDA co-produces events with civic and community partners, such as Pioneer Days, Boo-
Elum, and Christmas in Cle Elum, leveraging shared resources like fireworks, parade logistics, and marketing platforms. Data
from Placer Labs geofencing informs where partnerships are most effective in attracting visitors.
Digital and Media Collaborations: Social media campaigns, email newsletters, and website features are coordinated with
partners to amplify messaging and reach statewide audiences, including travelers from all 50 states and beyond.
Through these collaborative efforts, CEDA strengthens community engagement, tourism impact, and economic benefits while
efficiently utilizing resources. Partnerships are ongoing, adaptable, and driven by shared goals of promoting Cle Elum as a
dynamic, visitor-friendly destination.
2500 character limit
