Informational Submittals: <br />1. Subschedule of drainage, erosion, and sedimentation control. <br />2. Construction Period Drainage and Erosion/Sedimentation Control Plan <br />and Procedures in coordination with Stormwater Pollution Prevention <br />Plan. <br />3. Manufacturer’s Installation Instructions: Commercial products. <br />4. Seed certifications. <br />5. Copies of delivery invoices or other proof of quantities of mulch and <br />fertilizer. <br />1.04 DELIVERY, STORAGE, AND PROTECTION <br />A. Per Manufacturer’s Recommendations: <br />1. Furnish in standard containers with seed name, lot number, net weight, <br />percentages of purity, germination, and hard seed and maximum weed <br />seed content, clearly marked for each container of seed. <br />2. Keep dry during storage. <br />B. Hydroseeding Mulch: Mark package of wood fiber mulch to show air dry <br />weight. <br />1.05 SEQUENCING AND SCHEDULING <br />A. Prepare topsoil, before starting Work of this section. <br />B. Complete soil preparation, seeding, liming, fertilizing, mulching, and matting <br />within 5 days after final grades have been reached. <br />C. Notify Engineer at least 3 days in advance of: <br />1. Materials delivery. <br />2. Start of planting/seeding activity. <br />D. Seeding: Perform under favorable weather conditions during seasons that are <br />normal for such Work as determined by accepted local practice. <br />1.06 MAINTENANCE <br />A. Operations: <br />1. Perform during maintenance period to include: <br />a. Watering: Keep seeded surface moist. <br />b. Washouts: Repair by filling with topsoil, fertilizing, seeding, and <br />mulching.
