working with other agency partner to prepare for smoke response, prescribed burn messaging, and <br />deploying purple air monitors to public locations to expand our AQ monitoring throughout the county. <br />• will be hosting the AAR meeting for our measles response soon. <br />Epidemiology/Lianne Bradshaw <br />■ came from leave and jumped right into our measles response in January /February. <br />• has been transitioning into her role as the shared epidemiologist between Grant County Health District <br />(GCHD) and KCPHD. <br />■ is working on TB & other CD reporting, Child Fatality Review data, and overdose data for Grant, all while <br />onboarding with GCHD. <br />• has been working on KCPHD's data request process, data manual & handbook, CD reporting, respiratory <br />illness data visualizations, and other internal processes. <br />• is participating in EOP annex discussion & updates pertaining to CD response/capacity. <br />Assessment/MacKenzie Carter <br />• continued to coordinate the ongoing strategic planning process. Because priorities and capacity <br />constantly shift and evolve, we are testing out a continuous strategic planning model to allow for the <br />flexibility needed in our department while maintaining the same goals/objectives identified originally. <br />• in late 2025, we applied for and received one-time funding that will allow us to onboard RedCAP (Research <br />Electronic Data Capture), which is a web -based software that is designed for building online surveys, <br />databases, workflows, and data collection tools that will interface with the public. As part of our funding, <br />we will be piloting processes with the CD team and other staff that work directly with the community. <br />• been dedicating time to streamlining internal department processes and building templates to standardize <br />many elements of program planning and data collection processes as well as testing out Microsoft Power <br />Automate to automate workflows that are regularly used in the department. <br />• is working with CWU public health faculty to explore partnerships for service -learning projects for <br />students. We are focusing on project -based opportunities before we explore internships in the future. <br />• is part of the website team that is preparing for content creation and migration for the new website as well <br />as reviewing design/function elements as they are developed by the contractor. <br />• is supporting other department projects in the EH and Veterans programs. <br />Communications/Jess Santos <br />• is leading the new website project for KCPHD as well as largely contributing to the configuration and design <br />of the entire county website. <br />• participating in EOP annex discussion and updates. <br />• we distributed our first newsletter using Mailchimp as part of one of the communications plan objectives <br />to increase engagement with the community. <br />■ started working on our 2nd campaign for Public Health Week in April. <br />• presented a communications report reflecting on the accomplishments, outputs, and insights from 2025. <br />• continues to develop guides and workplans for internal department processes to expand competency and <br />capacity with communications tasks. <br />• working with other department staff on customer journey mapping activities <br />• working with Deputy Director and Finance Director on project scope for county -wide communications <br />needs discovery project. <br />
