Homelessness and Affordable Housing Advisory Committee (HAHC) <br />• The 2025-2030 Local Homeless Housing Plan for Kittitas County has been formally adopted <br />Cold Weather Shelter is operating and averaging 10 guests a night. <br />Robin Read Consulting has contracted with Kittitas County for an action plan with the Homelessness and <br />Affordable Housing Committee. <br />1/10th of 1 % Mental Health and Chemical Dependency Tax Advisory Board (1/10th Board) <br />• The sunset clause has been removed. <br />• Contracts are out for Boys and Girls Club, CWU, HopeSource, Kittitas County Health Network, Peers <br />Rising, Upper Kittitas County Senior Center, along with all the schools. <br />• The advisory board will begin work on the development of a two-year strategic plan for the county. <br />Veterans Advisory Board <br />• The Kittitas County Veterans Advisory Board is in the process of interviewing and onboarding new <br />members. <br />0 Work continues for a Veterans Resource Fair in 2026. <br />Developmental Disabilities <br />• DDAC continues to work on items identified as goals in their biennial plan and recently met with City of <br />Ellensburg's committees around transportation and housing needs. <br />• Meeting with school district staff from Pre-school through graduation to connect more people with <br />Developmental Disabilities to services. <br />Other Items from Human Services <br />• 3 of our 4 boards have full membership. <br />• According to our internal contracts database, we oversee roughly 35 contracts. <br />• The ILA with City of Ellensburg for opioid settlement is complete. <br />• Partnered with our Communications Coordinator and have fantastic social media videos and updated our <br />website to be more user friendly. <br />CommuRicabe Disease <br />Communicable Disease Investigations <br />Our Communicable Disease (CD) team has been actively engaged over the past three months in managing <br />notifiable conditions reported within Kittitas County. We have been very busy with our first Measles case in Kittitas <br />County in several years, Influenza Outbreak, and an RSV outbreak. Whitney Wheelock continues to contact cases <br />and perform investigations as they arise. Whitney's dedication and expertise with notifiable conditions plays a vital <br />role on our CD team. <br />Below is a monthly summary of cases for which investigations were conducted, or actions were taken by KCPHD. <br />The data includes cases of communicable diseases, sexually transmitted infections (STIs), animal bites, and cases <br />reported from outside the county. <br />`rr <br />
