Childhood Vaccine Clinics
We continue to share information about vaccines and emphasize the importance of childhood immunizations
through social media platforms and educational outreach to clinics and healthcare providers. Since September,
we have hosted ten vaccine clinics at the Health Department. We have received encouraging feedback from
community members, partnering agencies, school staff, and families regarding the value of providing this much -
needed service within the community. Given the often -lengthy wait times to schedule well -child visits with primary
care providers in our county, offering vaccine appointments at KCPHD provides a crucial alternative for families to
keep their children protected against vaccine -preventable diseases.
Harm Reduction Program
Our Harm Reduction Program continues to be actively engaged in serving numerous residents of Kittitas County.
Below, you will find a summary of key events in which our team participated.
