Page 22 Easton Table 4 Housing Inventory
I am having difficulty understanding what this Table represents. It obviously does not represent
on the ground inventory and is not reasonable to assume these are projected additional units.
Page 29 Recommended Actions
EA 4.0 A visia.. —. ut u ajwuid include property and business owners working with the
community to create a cooperative and creative vision that can move forward to a reality.
Page 30 5.2 Existing Conditions
There are no public wastewater systems serving the proposed Easton Sub Area. All
wastewater is processed by private septic systems.
'lectricity in the proposed Easton Sub Area is provided by Puget Sound Energy
1-90 divides the area — there are safety concerns, emergency access issues and traffic
pressures. These issues are well documented and are an on -going issue with local citizens and
uuaii ivaacs. There is a real threat to the Life Safety and Welfare on the community. The
proposed Easton Sub Area is Rural and is greatly impacted during travel interruption impacts
on 190 allowing what would be considered urban levels of traffic to leave the Interstate and
block Easton Area roadways. Those blocking incidents greatly impact the local emergency
services and their ability to assure the life safety and welfare of the community as well as the
traveling public.
Final thoughts
I am encouraged by the community input and participation in this process. I believe moving
forward the Sub Area Plan will bring the community closer together and revitalize the
community as a whole. I am encouraged that the community is deeply interested in and
committed to maintaining the Rural Caracter while future development and infill.
Thank you for reviewing my comments. I will be providing additional comments as this process
moves forward
Marge Brandsrud
PO Box 638
Easton WA 98925
dmbrandsrud@comcast.net
