Key functions include gathering employer input across jurisdictions, identifying shared workforce <br />challenges, and facilitating coordination among local governments, school districts, Career & <br />Technical Education programs, higher education institutions, workforce partners, and business <br />support organizations. This ensures that workforce and economic development efforts are aligned, <br />complementary, and responsive to the needs of employers countywide. <br />The position also supports multiple organizations by serving as a neutral convener and <br />implementation partner. By coordinating workforce programming, communications, and <br />consultant -supported initiatives, the role helps reduce duplication of effort, improves information <br />sharing, and maximizes the impact of limited public and private resources. <br />Because workforce availability, talent retention, and business sustainability challenges do not stop <br />at jurisdictional boundaries, a countywide approach is essential. This position provides that <br />connective capacity —supporting multiple jurisdictions and organizations while aligning activities <br />with county -led priorities and respecting local governance structures. <br />5. What goals and deliverables have you set for this position? How will you measure <br />success? <br />The goals and deliverables for this position are directly aligned with the Scope of Work and <br />Performance Metrics outlined in the attached funding proposal. The position is responsible for <br />advancing countywide economic development and workforce initiatives through employer <br />engagement, coordinated programming, and cross -sector partnerships. <br />Primary goals and deliverables include: <br />Employer Engagement <br />Engage a minimum of 50 employers annually through direct outreach, surveys, meetings, <br />and workforce -focused programming. <br />• Identify workforce trends, skills gaps, and priority needs across key industry sectors. <br />Measurement: <br />Employer participation will be tracked through attendance records, outreach logs, and documented <br />feedback gathered through surveys and meetings. <br />Workforce Programming <br />Deliver 6-10 workforce -focused workshops, forums, or events annually focused on <br />recruitment, retention, benefits, workplace culture, and work -life harmony. <br />Achieve at least 75% participant satisfaction based on post -event evaluations. <br />Measurement: <br />Event counts, attendance data, and post -program evaluations will be collected and reviewed to <br />assess effectiveness and participant satisfaction. <br />Talent Pipeline Development <br />
