6/23/2025 MINUTES 2 <br />DISCUSSION EXECUTIVE SESSION IT <br /> <br />At 11:15 a.m. Vice-Chairman Wright announced the Board would recess <br />into an executive session for 10 min with Doug Fessler, IT Director, <br />under RCW 42.30.110 (1)(g) To evaluate the qualifications of an <br />applicant for public employment or to review the performance of a <br />public employee. However, subject to RCW 42.30.140(4), discussion by <br />a governing body of salaries, wages, and other conditions of employment <br />to be generally applied within the agency shall occur in a meeting <br />open to the public, and when a governing body elects to take final <br />action hiring, setting the salary of an individual employee or class <br />of employees, or discharging or disciplining an employee, that action <br />shall be taken in a meeting open to the public. No action anticipated. <br /> <br />At 11:25 a.m. the Board reconvened out of Executive Session. The Board <br />decided to extend Doug Fessler’s goal for training to the end of the <br />year. <br /> <br />OTHER BUSINESS COMMUNICATION FORM IT <br /> <br />Assistant IT Director Zane Kinney is working on a form that will be <br />used to assess what the County’s communication mission is. <br /> <br />OTHER BUSINESS BURN BAN GIS MAP IT <br /> <br />Commissioner Wright requested IT to develop a GIS map that illustrates <br />the different burn zones for public clarity.
