The City has secured Congressionally Directed Spending funding for the Railroad Street <br />Rehabilitation and Truck Route project. The funding received from the Congressionally Directed <br />Spending grant is s1,500,000 out of the s1,730,000 needed for this project. <br />2. Feasibility and Risk Management <br />1. Feasibility: Assess the project's feasibility, including any completed studies, readiness to <br />begin, and likelihood of completion within the proposed trrneline. <br />ln anticipation ofthe Railroad Street truck route project, the City has taken the steps necessary <br />to federally classify the roadway. The City has also received an award letter for the S1'5 million <br />in secured funding. Once funds are available, the City will procure a design engineering contract <br />and proceed with the preliminary design phase. There are no anticipated obstacles such as <br />right-of-way acquisition. The City will be ready to obligate construction funds by spring 2027. <br />2. Risk Management: ldentify potential risks (e.g., delays, budget overruns) and proposed <br />mitigation strategies to address therrt.
