If the offender is transfened baclc to Walla Walla <br />County, a discharge sornmary containing informationconcerninghealth care provided <br />at KCJ shall accompany the offender via the Transport tean'. <br />D. Should nredical, psychiatric, or dental services require hospitaiization, Walla Walla <br />County agrees to compensate KCJ dollar for dollar any amount expended or cost <br />incurred inproviding the same. <br />E. Upon payment to KCJ by Walta Walla County for a Walla Walla Prisoner's health care <br />"ifr*r", tftr County wiil *rigo to Walla Walla County, if requested ty W.A[ W4u <br />Co-unty, any and ait rigtt to reimbursement for medical expenses authorized under <br />RCW 70.48.130. <br />F. Walla Walla County agrces to pay directly or reimburse the County for any and all <br />nedical. expenses, as defined in Section VI.A, incurred for Walla Walla Prisoners <br />which are not performed by medical staff on contact with the County within the <br />Kittitas Countylait, or paid by the Deparhent of Social andHealth Servicas, including <br />medical, psychiahic, and dental bills as well as presctiption medication expenses. <br />VII. Transuoltation <br />Kittitas County shall be responsible for the transportation of all prisoners from KCJ to local <br />medical services and back. Walla Walla County shall pay the actual costs for Kittitas <br />County personnel rcquired to appropriately and safely transport and ryint{n custody of <br />prisouirs during medlcd treatuent inoluding overtime as needed to maintain staffing for <br />operations. Kittitas County wiil contact Walla Walla County with regard-to any pre- <br />pianned major medical treatment to allow Walla Walta Cor:nty to consider thrc option of <br />using its own personnel for fiansport and security, including provision of female personnel <br />for medicalmatters specific to women. <br />Walla Walla County shall be responsible for transporting all inmates to and from custody <br />between \Malla WaitaCounty and KCJ, KCJ shall provide Walla Walla County adequate <br />and suffrcient notice of a Walla Walla County offender release date from KCJ so that <br />Walla Walla County can arrange transport on the scheduled tansport baok to Walla Walla <br />Countyn to preventan inmatafrom being held beyond their release date. All inmates <br />shall be pictced up and hansported to WalLa Walla County not less thtin 24-hours from <br />dischargJ, with the exceptions noted under Section fV (E) for offenders released once <br />bond had been posted.
