This methodology allows us to construct your website in a phased manner, beginning with the essential functionality
(such as a working CMS installation) and progressively adding more complex components and functionalities with
each sprint.
We are committed to fostering a productive collaborative partnership, which we believe is founded on continuous
communication and a willingness to adapt. Beyond the initial project discovery and streamlined upfront planning, we
establish a regular schedule of meetings to ensure ongoing collaboration, insight sharing, and feedback throughout
the duration of the project.
Our Project Management Approach
Agile Design and
Development Sprints
Project work and activities will be planned and organized into two-week sprint cycles.
During each two-week sprint cycle, Diagram will make visible, measurable progress designing
and developing your website. Within each sprint, Diagram will:
• Create or refine detailed visual and functional specifications for upcoming work.
• Implement new CMS functionality that will be ready to demo for feedback.
• Incorporate feedback on previously demoed site elements.
• Refine the website UI design and content.
• Conduct Quality Assurance (QA) and accessibility testing.
Demos and Planning
Sessions
Diagram will meet with the Kittitas County team on a weekly basis, alternating between
planning/project-update sessions and demos of work completed.

Demos
Demos will occur every other week throughout the design + development cycle. Collecting
feedback continuously throughout the project maintains alignment across teams and allows us to
course correct or pivot direction as needed. We will coordinate with your core project team to plan
which stakeholders should be included in each demo.

Planning Sessions
In the off weeks when no demo is scheduled, Diagram’s team will meet with the Kittitas County
core project team or project coordinator to:
• Confirm feedback received in or after demos.
• Discuss work-in-progress and confirm or clarify expectations as needed.
• Collaborate on plans for future work, validating our understanding of Site/CMS admin
needs and granular functional requirements.
• Review work-completed vs. work-remaining, upcoming milestones, and deliverable
dates.
Dependencies As the Design and Build phase involves a considerable amount of client communication and
review, the availability of stakeholders to participate in review sessions and provide input is
essential to meet project timelines. Delays in this phase will affect the final deadline. Any changes
requested after each stage of the design has been completed can be accommodated but will be
considered out of scope and addressed on a case-by-case basis with change orders.
