i <br />Kittitas Counts <br />Public Health <br />To Protect and Promote the Health and the Environment of the People of Kittitas County <br />6, Other Funds <br />Other funds comprise only 9% of the overall budget. These include the KCPHD indirect rate of 12%, which is <br />charged to all KCPHD staff costs across all three budgets, and used to support shared administrative costs; <br />interest income; and finally Opioid Settlement funds. KCPHD houses the Opioid Settlement fund balance and will <br />facilitate the request for proposal process from community organizations to access funding in 2026. KCPHD <br />retains 10% of total settlement funds received as a fee to administer the funds.
