Assessment ■ Continued work on Strategic Planning, including moving into the workgroup charter and brainstorming secondary members for workgroups • Wrapping up and sharing results of two Veterans surveys • Building pages for each workgroup on the SP SharePoint site • Developing plans for the Community Forums and Prioritization survey with Environmental Health for the Air Quality in Overburdened Community grant Epidemiology • Epidemiologist Lianne Bradshaw is on leave until the beginning of 2026. • Erin Moore is working with the Grant County Health District (GCHD) to structure the shared epi position between KCPHD and GCHD, with the goal of transitioning Lianne to that model once she returns from Leave. Homelessness and Affordable Housing Advisory Committee (HAHC) • The Homelessness and Affordable Housing Committee has full membership. The group worked with Robin Read as a facilitator to provide input on the 5-year homeless housing plan. We continue to engage with Brittanny Bouchouari at HopeSource regarding the completion of the plan. KCPHD and some members attended the Cold Weather Shelter Public Meeting that occurred on the 17th of July at the Grace Episcopal church. Dialogue between the public and previous shelter operators was positive. 1/10th of 1% Mental Health and Chemical Dependency Tax Advisory Board (1/101h Board) • We have one opening and now one applicant for the 1 /10th of 1 % Mental Health and Chemical Dependency Tax Advisory Board. • KCPHD received 9 submissions for the RFP process. 8 of the submissions screened in for committee review including Boys and Girls Club, CWU, HopeSource, KCHN, MindBody Health and Wellness Clinic, Peers Rising, Quiet Cadence, and the UKC Senior Center. • Committee members had a refresher on the request for proposal scoring process and provided feedback for any future changes to improve the process. They are now scoring the submissions listed above and will have these returned by August 28th, 2025. r Mental Health and Substance Use Disorder Projects has project pages on our website, for more information about the subcontractors from the RFP process. There is also social media posts going out about advisory members. Emma Madland has been creating content that is getting some of the highest views for KCPHD! ■ The board has been discussing the 2027 sunset clause and how to share information and data regarding the impact of this tax. Some of the current data can be found on the project pages (see link above). • Behavioral Health Court will be presenting to the board at our August meeting. Veterans Advisory Board 0 The Kittitas County Veterans Advisory Board has full membership with 8 members serving.
