Sessions are typically on the second Thursday, 10:00- <br />I 1:00 a.m., and may occasionally be adjusted, with advance notice provided' <br />Table 8.1: Know 2 Grow Session Schedule <br />One-on-One Field Mentoring <br />The CONTRACTOR will provide new PPA specialists with mentoring from experienced specialists (ln- <br />House PPA Mentors), focr.rsing on internal procedures and site visits. If no In-House Mentor is available, <br />ECOLOGY will assign a olle-oll-olle rnentor. The duration of the one-on-one mentoring will be <br />dependent on the new specialist's prior experience and will be agreed upon following evaluation by <br />Ecology and cliscussions with the specialist. Additionally, the PPA Mentoring Program connects new <br />specialists with mentors through K2G sessions, Webinars, All-Staff training(s), and the Discussion Board. <br />Specialists are encouraged to seek out additional mentoring support for problem-solving, sector research, <br />and field rnentoring. Fielcl rnentoring involves site visits with the new specialist observing the mentor alrd <br />serving as a backup specialist during field work. New specialists will gradually take over the lead dLrties <br />during field work fo prepare for full-time lead duties and to prepare for ECOLOGY's Shadow Workday. <br />Fieldlnentoring visits rnust occur before the ECOLOGY PPA Shadow Workday. For more details, refer <br />to the New Specialist Training Plan (Appendix A, Statement of Work, Section 12: Resources). <br />Ecolosy Shadow Workdav (Ecolosv ApDroval) <br />Once the PPA Meltor ald new PPA Specialist agree on readiness, ECOLOGY staff will accompany the <br />specialist on a few technical assistance visits (Ecology Shadow Workday). During these visits, the <br />specialist will dernonstrate their ability to engage with site contacts and present the PPA program' <br />including waste rnanagernent, spill prevention, stormwater pollution, and toxics reduction.
