<br />2026-2031 Summary Page 7 <br /> <br /> <br />Denmark Road <br />Improvements <br />Denmark Road serves as a local <br />connector from nearby <br />residential developments and <br />agricultural activities. <br />Improvements are proposed to <br />Denmark Road from Thrall <br />Road to Fourth Parallel Road. <br />Improvements include <br />widening and replacement of <br />the structure over Cascade <br />Canal. <br />RAP funds, <br />HSIP funds, <br />local funds <br />2026-2029 $4,710,000 <br />Airport Road Culvert <br />Replacement <br />Undersized irrigation culverts <br />under Airport Road in Cle Elum <br />have increased drainage issues <br />in the area. Replacement of <br />these undersized culverts with <br />larger, adequate culverts will <br />decrease flooding issues for <br />nearby property owners while <br />also protecting the roadway <br />from damage. <br />RAP funds 2029-2030 $1,290,000 <br />Short Span Structure <br />Replacement <br />Program <br />Kittitas County has 156 <br />routinely inspected structures <br />having a length under 20-feet. <br />These structures are not eligible <br />for the WSDOT Local Bridge <br />Program funding, as such it is <br />the County’s responsibility to <br />maintain or replace these <br />structures with County funds. <br />Based on field reviews many of <br />these structures need significant <br />repairs or to be replaced. This <br />phase begins to address the <br />need to repair or replace these <br />structures. Multiple phases will <br />be required to address all <br />structures. <br />STBG funds, <br />local funds <br />2026-2030 $4,200,000 <br />Reecer Creek Rd over <br />Towne Ditch <br />Bridge #88212 on Reecer <br />Creek Road over the Towne <br />Ditch.
