Assessment <br /> • Data collection and analysis—MacKenzie Carter,our Assessment Coordinator, is planning <br /> or finishing the following surveys.You should see how much work goes into planning, <br /> creating, and launching a survey! <br /> o Behavioral Health Needs Assessment <br /> o Air Quality <br /> o Veterans <br /> o Developmental Disabilities Advisory Committee-Access to Activities and <br /> Recreation <br /> • Strategic plan -despite many competing priorities,we continue to plug away and make <br /> progress with strategic planning.Workgroups should be starting to be more active in the <br /> coming months. <br /> • Behavioral Health Needs Assessment-working on coding and compiling focus group data <br /> and working on elements of final report <br /> • Process documentation for Assessment functions—Assessment and the other PHI roles <br /> support projects and programs across the entire department and we are working hard to <br /> outline some of those functions and available services. <br /> Emergency Preparedness <br /> • Integrated Preparedness Plan (IPP)for the County- Kelly is completing this plan,which <br /> outlines priorities,training, and preparedness activities for the county to respond to public <br /> health emergencies. <br /> • Reviving the Medical Reserve Corps(MRC)—the Kittitas County MRC is a network of local <br /> volunteers that support public health emergency response, including both medical and non- <br /> medical individuals. Kelly is reaching out to registered volunteers to see if they want to <br /> continue.We have updated the handbook and training requirements, and are working to <br /> update other MRC documents in hopes to start recruiting new members. <br /> • We are hosting two FEMA Emergency Response Section Chief Trainings locally: Safety <br /> Officer and Operations Section Chief.This is an opportunity for countywide staff, local <br /> partners, and regional partners to train in these functions, and helps build additional <br /> capacity for emergency response. <br /> • Staff attended both Ellensburg and Cle Elum Roslyn High School career fairs to promote <br /> local public health career opportunities. <br /> • Kelly planned and conducted our recent measles tabletop exercise in partnership with <br /> Lianne. <br /> • Finally, Kelly is working to complete our numerous end of the year grant deliverables for our <br /> DOH emergency response funding. <br /> Human Services <br /> Kittitas County Human Services currently oversees over thirty subcontractors with the addition of <br /> three more contracts in the near future. Additionally,work with opioid settlement funding will <br /> increase that number in the future as well. <br /> Homelessness and Affordable Housing Advisory Committee(HAHC) <br /> • The committee voted to recommend projects for the most recent RFP that was submitted, <br /> which included both HopeSource and Habitat for Humanity.
