,EXFilBII'A:: <br />SCOPE OF WORK <br />CompassDirect Healthcare intends to provide 24171365 acces$ to medlcallytralned <br />personnel to provide prompt access to treatment behavloraland mental health ssrvlces, <br />Medicalstaff will be in tho faaillty 5 days a woek provlng addition psychotropic <br />prescriber tlme as well ae 60 hours a week Clinical Staff Coverage to what KCJ already <br />has in place. ln the event of the Cllnlcal Staff belng on leave, both planned and <br />emergent, CompassDirect Healthcarc will be responsible for covering the hours wlth a <br />replacement staff member during that same tirne. <br />Jall staff and other medical providers wlll always have access to CompassDirect <br />Healthoare prescribers vla telephone. CompassDlrect Healthcare staff willscreen snd <br />triags frEsh lntakes/booklngs and all other inaarceraied people forthelr needs as related <br />to behavloral/mental health carq as wellas monltor medlcations forfollow-up, <br />education, and reordering as necessary to ensure the patient doesn't run out. <br />Goals and Objectives <br />1", To extend weekday acce$$ to behavioral and mental health servlces <br />z. Provide a Glinlcal $taff Memberto work in the Kittitas CountyJailfor 5 days a <br />week, 40 hours a week <br />3. Provide a Cllnical Staff Member to work ln tho Kittltas County Jail for 2 days a <br />woekend, 20 hours a week <br />4. To provide 2417 on aall services for omergency situations related to <br />behavioral/mental health medlcations <br />5, To ensure contlnulty of care amongst providers of care, collaborate with lnternal <br />and extemal stakeholders, including the existing mental health nur$e practltloner <br />and therapist, vla phone and in person as needed <br />Propoeed Program <br />To accompllsh the abovedescribed objectivee, CompassDirect Healthcare lntends to <br />extend theircunent slck call hours as needed to promptly address access to behavioral <br />and mental heatth issuee. lf the ability to not address all necessary pationte durlng <br />regularly scheduled sick call hours, CornpassDirect Healthcarewill workwith KCJ staffto <br />determine time later to return to the facility and address any additional clients as <br />needed. <br />The Clinlcalstaff wllloversoe triaging all mental health related patlents and determine <br />which mentalhealth practltionerthey need to be seen by. The Cllnlcal$taffwill also be <br />responsible for intake a$se$sments, Medicaid eligibllity, medlcation passes, monitoring <br />of medlcation levels, and setting tho appropriate followup needs forthose they are <br />providlng servlces to.
