A ‘601W First Aye,Ste 1300 <br />Spokane,WA 99201,USA\b Engineers mwenglneers.com <br />BASIC SERVICES:The following are descriptions of the engineering services included in the basic services for the <br />project.Services outlined as a potential supplemental service or indicated to be excluded elsewhere in this proposal <br />are excluded from the basic services. <br />MECHANICAL:Design and specification of plumbing and HVAC systems including temperature controls and <br />selective demolition. <br />ELECTRICAL:Design and specification of electrical systems including utility service,building distribution, <br />equipment connections,branch circuits,receptacles,pathways,electrical load calculations and selective <br />demolition. <br />FIRE ALARM:Design and specification of code minimum fire alarm systems. <br />LIGHTING:Design and specification of lighting systems and the associated lighting control systems.Services <br />include conceptual design,renderings,final design,and photometric calculations. <br />TELECOM DESIGN:Design and specification of a complete Telecommunications distribution system.Design <br />to consist of pathways,cable tray,cabling,equipment racks,patch panels,outlets,and terminations.Active <br />telecommunications equipment will be provided and installed by the Owner. <br />WIRELESS ACCESS NETWORK ROUGH-IN:Basic services exclude the design of the wireless access network <br />system.Electrical basic services include the design and specification of Wireless Access Point (WAPs) <br />infrastructure consisting of pathways and wiring based upon Owner provided WAP layout drawings. <br />SECURITY ACCESS CONTROL ROUGH-IN:Basic services exclude the design of security access systems. <br />Electrical basic services include the design and specification of access control system infrastructure <br />consisting of pathways based upon Owner provided security design drawings.Door hardware shall be <br />designed and specified by Division 08 and are not included in this scope of work. <br />DRAWING PREPARATION:Basic services include preparation of drawings using Revit developed to BIM Level <br />300 as defined in AlA document G202-2013 in construction documents. <br />COST ESTIMATING:Basic services include an opinion of probable construction costs for MEP at the 100% <br />Design Development and 100%Construction Document phases of the project. <br />RECORD DOCUMENTS:Preparation of record documents is transferring the contractor’s legibly recorded <br />record of field changes to original Revit or CADD models/files when developed by the contractor in <br />accordance with the construction documents. <br />Page 2 of 4
