3 <br />per trip fee (including time and travel expenses)listed under Summary of <br />Fees below. <br />vii.Respond to questions or comments from the AHj(s). <br />b.Provide Bidding &Negotiation services that include responses to bidder <br />questions and permitting review comment revisions and responses.DCI will <br />answer questions which may arise during the bid process by providing the <br />appropriate document clarification or supplementary information. <br />c.Provide Construction Administration,including review of submittals,responses <br />to RFIs,and field fixes as required for quality control relative to site work <br />construction.DCI will answer questions which may arise during the bid process <br />by providing the appropriate document clarification or supplementary <br />information.DCI will also provide a punch list inspection and closeout <br />documentation for project completion.Any subsurface storm water facilities, <br />existing or installed as part of this project,will be registered with the <br />Washington State Department of Ecology’s Underground Injection Control (UIC) <br />program as required by the state and local AHJ5. <br />d.Provide Project Closeout services including a punch list inspection,punch list <br />report,and closeout documentation for project completion AHj required <br />certifications (including Record Drawings). <br />2.SUPPLEMENTAL SERVICES j DCI will also provide civil engineering design services <br />for elements that are not part of the Primary Civil Services when pre-approved by <br />the Client.Fee ranges are used where the scope of the Supplemental Services is <br />not well-defined. <br />a.Trips to the Ellensburg will be completed only when requested by the Client or <br />Pre-Approved in advance by the Client.Trips will be invoiced on a per trip basis <br />according to the Supplemental Services fee shown in the table below.The per <br />trip fee includes travel time and expenses. <br />b.We anticipate that a Construction Storm Water General Permit (CSWGP)will be <br />required for the project.This permit is administered by the Washington State <br />Department of Ecology (WSDOE).Obtaining this permit entails filing a Notice of <br />Intent (NOl)with the state,placing a legal notice in the local newspaper for <br />consecutive weeks,and preparing a Storm Water Pollution Prevention Plan <br />(SWPPP)report for the project.DCI will facilitate the obtaining of this permit for <br />the project.Any fees incurred by DCI as part of this process will are included in <br />our proposed fixed fee for this scope of work. <br />If the design process is extended for any reason beyond our control,DCI reserves <br />the right to negotiate additional services for the increased engineering and <br />management effort.Excessive schedule delays may also require additional fees to <br />cover our increased management time.See the Supplemental Services section for <br />price range. <br />LOCAL EXPERTISE,NATIONAL EXPERIENCE.LEARN MORE AT DCI-ENGINEERS.COM
