4 <br />If there are substantial and significant plan changes after work commences,we <br />reserve the opportunity to discuss a reasonable modification to our fee.Any <br />LU modification to the scope of services will be prepared as an amendment to this <br />D contract. <br />.—I <br />CONSTRUCTION DOCUMENT DEVELOPMENT <br />We understand Aut0CAD (release 2025 Civil3D or earlier)will be utilized to produce <br />the Construction Documents for this project.The digital Aut0CAD files are not <br />intended for use for construction dimensioning,such as shop drawings,layouts, <br />etc.,but these digital files can be made available to the contractor for informational <br />purposes,provided that such use is at the contractors own risk and is subject to the <br />execution of DCI’s standard digital media agreement. <br />ASSUMPTIONS AND QUALIFICATIONS OF PROPOSAL <br />In the development of this fee proposal,we have made the following assumptions. <br />Please let us know if these assumptions are not accurate so we may determine if <br />any modifications to this proposal are necessary. <br />1.There is an existing City well located on the east side of the site.The new <br />improvements will be designed in accordance with the well head protection <br />criteria (paving,building,no infiltration etc.).This proposal does not include <br />work related to mitigation of the existing well head protection area not affected <br />by this project (animal pens etc.). <br />2.This proposal does not include analysis of offsite water,sewer,or storm <br />drainage systems. <br />3.DCI assumes that the stormwater will be disposed of using on-site infiltration. <br />Stormwater treatment is anticipated to be accomplished using standard swales <br />or bio-retention facilities. <br />4.DCI assumes a geotechnical study will be made available before design <br />commences.The report should include a description of soil types,condition, <br />stability,infiltration capacity,and groundwater conditions.The report should <br />also provide recommendations for pavement thickness and subgrade <br />preparation. <br />5.We will assume that a preliminary site plan showing the proposed lot layout <br />and other site configurations will be shared with DCI. <br />6.This proposal does not include any offsite extensions of streets,roads or <br />utilities,nor does it include any offsite entitlement issues such as cross-access <br />easements,access permits,or right-of-way negotiations.This proposal does <br />not include any mitigation studies (such as traffic studies,sensitive area <br />studies,or environmental assessments)or mitigation measures (such as <br />environmental remediation or underground storage tank removal).We will <br />assume that a copy of any protective covenants,traffic studies,preliminary <br />utility studies,correspondence,meeting notes,applications and so on will also <br />be provided to DCI and updated copies will be supplied as needed. <br />LOCAL EXPERTISE,NATIONAL EXPERIENCE.LEARN MORE AT DCI-ENGINEERS.COM
