2 Water,sewer,and storm drainage services will be stubbed to the future northeast seating area. The anticipated major elements of the civil engineering design are anticipated to be as follows: •New paving for ADA access along the north side of the stands •Water service improvements for the existing and proposed buildings on the north half of the arena (and the Golden Buckle).Major items include new frost-free hydrants,connections to buildings,and the ability to winterize specific buildings without draining the entire water system on-site. •New fire hydrants and associated on-site water line improvements to comply with fire department requirements. •Sewer service improvements including a new sewage lift station to serve the existing and proposed buildings in the north half of the arena. •Storm water system for the new paved area along with the existing and proposed roofs on the north half of the arena. •Include grading measures (berm etc.)along the east half of the site to direct culvert overflow away from the main arena area.It is uncertain what specific measures will be needed or if a solution is even feasible until the topographic survey is completed. SCOPE OF ENGINEERING SERVICES DCI’S proposed scope of civil engineering services is described below.Items not specifically identified in this proposal are assumed to be outside of DCI’S scope.If additions or changes to the scope are desired,please inform us so we may revise our scope and fees accordingly. 1.PRIMARY CIVIL SERVICES I DCI will provide civil engineering design services for the project,defined as Primary Civil Services.As part of Primary Civil Services,DCI will: a.Prepare 100%Design Development Documents and 100%Construction Documents for temporary sediment and erosion control,site demolition,on- site grading,stormwater drainage,and underground utility services,site/civil cost estimate,CSI format outline civil/site project specifications,and any other scope items included in this proposal. i.Provide site planning review and comments,as needed,during development of the site plan. ii.Coordinate with the ALSC,the project Owner,design team,and the City of Ellensburg as required during the design process and permit review process. iii.Coordinate with utility purveyors for site utility services. iv.Provide stamped stormwater calculations as required by the City of Ellensbu rg. v.Provide CSI format project specifications for civil/site scopes of work. vi.Attend design coordination meetings as needed,assumed via conference call.Any requested meetings in Ellensburg will be billed according to the LOCAL EXPERTISE,NATIONAL EXPERIENCE.LEARN MORE AT DCI-ENGINEERS.COM
