3 <br />f.Provide Construction Administration.This phase of the project includes the <br />following scope of work. <br />•Review submittals including shop drawings and documents from fabricators, <br />subcontractors,and bidder-designed elements. <br />•Respond to requests for information (RFIs)and provide Structural Sketches <br />(SSK5)for clarification of design intent. <br />•Provide structural observations as required.DCI has included scope for up <br />to two site visits within our proposed fees.Additional site visits may be <br />invoiced on a time and materials basis. <br />•Structural observation site visits are intended as limited visual observations <br />of structural components for general conformance to the approved <br />Construction Documents prepared by DCI. <br />•Review of the materials testing and inspection reports provided by the <br />materials testing and inspection company. <br />2.ADDITIONAL SERVICES <br />I <br />Additional Services beyond those identified in the <br />Primary Structural Services and Supplemental Services may be provided as <br />requested for additional fees.Additional Services are NOT included in the <br />Primary Structural Services or Supplemental Services.Typical Additional Service <br />items are outlined here.Please contact us if you have specific requests and <br />would like to discuss pricing. <br />a.Bidder-Designed Deferred Submittals:Design or detailing of non-primary <br />elements of the building that are traditionally included as a bidder-designed <br />deferred submittals,including curtain wall or cladding,metal stairs,guardrails <br />and handrails,interior non-load bearing walls &soffits,and exterior building <br />maintenance equipment.The primary structure will be designed and <br />coordinated to accommodate the loads from these elements. <br />b.Means &Methods:Construction engineering for temporary excavation and <br />construction shoring,tower crane or personnel hoist foundation and tie-back <br />systems,temporary bracing,demolition of existing structures,or other <br />contractor means and methods work. <br />STRUCTURAL DOCUMENT DEVELOPMENT <br />We understand REVIT will be utilized to produce the Construction Documents for this <br />project.The digital files are not intended for use for construction dimensioning,such <br />as shop drawings,layouts,etc.,but the files can be made available to the contractor <br />for informational purposes,provided such use is at the contractor’s own risk and is <br />subject to the execution of DCI’S standard digital media agreement. <br />Washington I Oregon I California I Texas I <br />Alaska I Colorado <br />I Montana I <br />Delaware I Pennsylvania
