Monitoring Well B8 Plans and Specifications <br />Kittitas County Solid Waste <br />The unit prices shall be full compensation for all labor, tools, equipment, and materials necessary to <br />drill, furnish materials, and install the monitoring well. Work will include but is not limited to drilling, <br />installation of well casing and screened intervals and installation of all well backfill materials, well <br />completion, and well development, as described in the Specifications and on the Plans. <br />4A Schedule of Unit Prices <br />Measurement and Payment shall be as follows: <br />1. "Mobilization/Demobilization" by the lump sum unit price. This includes all costs for <br />transportation of equipment and personnel; hotels, per diem, and meals for staff; and fuel <br />for the entire duration of the project. <br />2. "Department of Ecology Notice of Intent / Well Log," by the lump sum unit price following <br />chapter 173-160 WAC. <br />3. "Set Up / Decontamination" by the lump sum unit price. <br />4. "Drill minimum 6.375-inch diameter sonic borehole" by the unit price per linear vertical foot <br />drilled. This unit price applies to all drilling below ground surface except in instances of <br />abandonment by the contractor. <br />5. "Backfiil unused 6.375-inch borehole" by the unit price per linear vertical foot. This unit price <br />applies to all backfill prior to installation of the sand pack underlying the well screen. <br />6. "Construct 2-inch diameter Weil" by the unit price per linear vertical foot. This unit price <br />applies to all well construction where the well screen and riser pipe are installed (includes <br />footage above land surface into the monument, the sand pack underlying the well screen, <br />and the seal placed above the sand pack). <br />7. "Construct minimum 6-inch diameter above ground well monument with bollards" by the <br />lump sum unit price as specified. This lump sum price includes all labor, materials, and <br />equipment for installation of the well monument and bollards. <br />8. "Well development" by the lump sum unit price. This price shall include all labor, materials, <br />and equipment necessary to develop the completed well per the provided specifications. <br />9. "Standby Time" by the unit price per hour. The hourly rate will be billed on standby time <br />exceeding 30 minutes when initiated by or approved by the GEOLOGIST or OWNER. <br />Stoppages of work less than 30 minutes are considered incidental to the project and no <br />hourly rates apply. <br />10. "Minor Changes" per lump sum amount of $5,000. This includes minor changes to the scope <br />of work necessary for completion of the project including, but not limited to, additional <br />backfill materials required to fill void spaces encountered only permissible with written <br />approval from the GEOLOGIST or OWNER. <br />February 2025 1 553-1763-010 15 <br />
