Monitoring Well B8 Plans and Specifications <br />Klttitas CounSy Solid waste <br />Chapter 296 62 300 WAC Is required of the CONTRACTOR for this job. The CONTRACTOR <br />acknowledges that they are familiar with conditions at the project site and has ascertained any HASP <br />requirements of applicable laws and regulations pertinent to the specific project site conditions. <br />The CONTRACTOR shall supply to the OWNER the names and phone numbers of responsible <br />personnel representing the CONTRACTOR and each subcontractor for the purpose of contacting <br />these individuals in the event of an emergency. <br />1.4.3 Standard Spill Prevention Control and Countermeasure Play <br />This plan outlines requirements for construction operations on the OWNER's property. The <br />CONTRACTOR is required to submit a site -specific spill prevention, control, and countermeasure plan <br />(SPCCP) as outlined below. <br />1.4,3.1 Spill Prevention, Control, and Countermeasures <br />This Work shall consist of preparing a SPCCP for the well drilling/construction and preparing for <br />implementation of the plans by the Contractor. This preparation includes building any containment <br />areas for fuel storage, berms, or earthwork necessary to facilitate spill prevention shown in the <br />SPCCPs submitted by the CONTRACTOR as per these Specifications. <br />SPCCP Requiremerb <br />The CONTRACTOR shall be responsible for the preparation of an SPCCP to encompass all <br />construction activities and is to be used for the duration of the project. The SPCCP shall be <br />submitted to the GEOLOGIST prior to the commencement of any construction activities. The <br />CONTRACTOR shaft maintain a copy of the SPCCP with any updates at the work site. <br />The SPCCP shall Identify construction -planning elements and recognize potential spill sources at the <br />site. The SPCCP shall outline responsive actions in the event of a spill or release and shall identify <br />notification and reporting procedures. The SPCCP shall also outline CONTRACTOR management <br />elements such as personnel responsibilities, project site security, site inspections and training. <br />The SPCCP shall outline what measures the CONTRACTOR shall take to prevent the release or <br />spread of the following. <br />1. Any hazardous material* found on site and encountered during construction but not <br />identified in these specifications. <br />2. Any hazardous materials* that the CONTRACTOR stores, uses, or generates on the <br />construction site during constructlon activities. These Items include, but are not limited to, <br />gasoline, oiis and chemicals. <br />*Note: Hazardous material, as referred to within this Specification, is defined in RCW 70,105.010 under <br />"hazardous substance." <br />The SPCCP shaft also address, at a minimum, the following project -specific Information: <br />1. Introduction, SPCCP Elements, Site Information, Management Approval, Site Description, <br />Planning and Recognition, Spill Prevention and Containment, Spill Response, Reporting, <br />Program Management, and Attachments to include: <br />a. Emergency Action Plan <br />b. Site Plan <br />c. Inspection and Incident Report Forms <br />February 2025 1 553-7 763-010 <br />
