Monitoring Well 98 Plans and Specifications <br />Kittite9 Goonty Solid Waste <br />1.4 Pre -work Submittals <br />The following submittal shall be .submitted to the GEOLOGIST and OWNER within 14-days of contract <br />award. <br />1. Schedule, Materials, and Contacts (See Section 1.4.1) <br />The following submittals shall be submitted to the GEOLOGIST at least 14 days prior to mobilization. <br />1. CONTRACTOR's Health and Safety Plan (See Section 1.4.2) <br />2. CONTRACTOR's Spill Prevention Control and Countermeasures Plan (See Section 1.4.3) <br />The following submittals shall be submitted to -the GEOLOGIST and OWNER a minimum of 72-hours <br />prior to mobilization <br />1. Verification of Notice of Intent (See Section 1.4.4) <br />2. A one -call utility notification (See Section 1.4.4) <br />The CONTRACTOR shall submit In writing to the GEOLOGIST details of any proposed changes in or <br />departures from these Specifications along with the reasons, therefore. Make no changes or <br />departures without the prior written favorable review of the GEOLOGIST. <br />1.4. X Schedule, Materials, and Contacts <br />The first deliverable upon contract award shall be Project Summary describing the schedule, <br />materials, and contact information of CONTRACTOR personnel. <br />The schedule shall include the proposed mobilization date, proposed stark date for drilling, proposed <br />completion date, cleanup date(s), and proposed demobilization date <br />The Driller and Field Personnel contact Information shall include qualifications Including licenses. <br />The Materials List shall list materials to be used in completion of the work including Manufacturer <br />information and quantities that will be obtained for completion of the work. <br />l .4.2 Health and Safety Plan <br />1..4.2,1 Present Site Characterization <br />The Facility includes the closed Balefill Landfill and the active LPL. The Balefill Landfill operated from <br />1980 until final closure in 2005. The LPL has operated from 1997 to the present. The Facility also <br />includes historical and current biosollds storage and land application fields. Groundwater <br />contaminants associated with the site history may be encountered during drilling. The CONTRACTOR <br />shall comply with health and safety rules, regulations, ordinances promulgated by the Local, State, <br />and Federal government, the various construction permits, and other sections of the Contract <br />Documents. <br />CONTRACTOR shall inform employees, subcontractors, and their employees of the potential dangers <br />of working on and near landfills and industrial facilities. The CONTRACTOR shall provide all personnel <br />working on the project with required orientation and training on the potential hazards anticipated <br />and the appropriate use of safety equipment. <br />February 2025 1553.1763-010 <br />
