Direct Count Method: We maintain a direct count of all attendees and vendors at each event, providing us with accurate
attendance figures.
2. Informal Surveys: Before the event, throughout the event, and after we conduct informal surveys to gather insights from
attendees and vendors. These surveys help us determine key demographics, including:
* The percentage of attendees and vendors traveling from over 50 miles away.
* Information on overnight stays, allowing us to gauge the economic impact on local accommodations.
3. Estimation Process:
* The data collected from surveys is applied to the direct count figures. By calculating the percentage of attendees and
vendors who reported traveling from out of the area, we can estimate the number of individuals who stayed overnight.
* This structured estimation provides valuable insights into the event’s reach and its contribution to local tourism and
economic activity.
4. Continuous Improvement: We use this data not only to assess current attendance but also to inform future marketing
strategies and outreach efforts, ensuring we attract even more visitors in subsequent shows.
By employing these tracking methods, we can effectively monitor the growth and impact of Junk-tiquen, allowing us to make
informed decisions for future events.
2500 character limit
