These
include zip code tracking and direct counting. Zip code data has confirmed that we are attracting visitors from over 50 miles
away, as well as from outside Washington State and even internationally.
Our direct counting methods involve regular walk-throughs during events, where counts are conducted approximately every half
hour at event locations. We also collaborate with retail partners to track the number of shoppers in their establishments.
In addition to these methods, we use Google Analytics, registration forms, and social media metrics to measure our impact,
including ad performance and engagement levels. Starting in 2023, we will integrate an informal survey into our marketing
materials to collect data on whether participants are staying overnight during their visits. This new approach aims to provide
insights into lodging trends, addressing the challenge of directly collecting data from hotels.
Our comprehensive assessment strategy will enhance our understanding of visitor patterns and improve our ability to attract and
accommodate guests effectively.
2500 character limit
Application Questions: Part 5
