Kittitas County Page 8 of 10 <br />Comprehensive Solid Waste Management Plan Revision <br />Task 5.0 Environmental Checklist <br />Complete an environmental checklist in accordance with the State Environmental Policy <br />Act (SEPA). <br />Task 6.0 Final Draft Plan Preparation <br />Task 6.1 Incorporate comments received into the final draft Plan. If made <br />necessary by substantial changes to the final draft Plan, hold a second <br />public hearing. <br />Task 6.2 Submit the final draft Plan along with comments and environmental <br />checklist to the Department of Ecology. <br />Task 6.3 Incorporate any comments or recommendations from the Department of <br />Ecology into the final Plan. <br />Task 7.0 Plan Adoption <br />Submit the Plan for final adoption by all participating jurisdictions. <br />Task 8.0 WUTC Review and adoption. <br />Task 9.0 Department of Ecology Final Approval <br />Submit the adopted Plan, the required Plan Elements Checklist, and the resolutions of <br />adoption to the Department of Ecology for final approval. <br />V. Proposal Format <br />Consultants submitting proposals are requested to provide the following information, which will <br />serve as the basis for evaluation: <br />A. A description of the consultant’s experience in the area of solid waste plan development <br />and/or updating of solid waste management plans. List solid waste management plan <br />projects similar to this proposal that the consultant has performed in the last three (3) years. <br />Provide each client’s name, address, telephone number, and contact person, so the County <br />may contact them as references. <br />B. A description of the approach to be used in accomplishing the project. It is expected that <br />varied approaches exist to accomplish the overall scope of the project, and consequently it is <br />encouraged that each consultant employs their experience to describe an approach achieving <br />the intended results. The approach shall be summarized in a proposed scope of services <br />format.
