Proposal Evaluation
Representatives of Kittitas County Solid Waste will review proposals. The proposals will be
rated in accordance with the following weighted criteria:
1. Specific experience (25 percent)
2. Project approach (35 percent)
3. Project staff (15 percent)
4. Project implementation schedule (15 percent)
5. Budget of work hours (10 percent)
One or more proposers obtaining the highest scores will be invited to an interview before a
selection committee to determine the best-qualified proposer who will be recommended for
selection to the Kittitas County Board of Commissioners. Kittitas County will then begin
negotiation of a contract agreement. If a satisfactory contract cannot be negotiated, negotiations
will be conducted with the next best-rated proposer.
