REPORTING TEMPLATE (See Article 2(1)): CSC quarterly reports will be structured as <br />follows: <br />1. Summary narrative of topics in progress, introduced and/or concluded during the <br />reporting period; <br />2. Finance updates, including <br />a. YTD budget/actual figures, <br />b. pending budget amendments, and <br />c. year-end forecasts; <br />3. Technology updates, including project status and YTD Enterprise Technology Fund <br />data; <br />4. Personnel updates, including vacancy and recruitment data, surveys, and benefits <br />program changes; <br />5. Facilities Maintenance updates, including status and timelines of current and <br />pending facilities capital and maintenance projects; <br />6. Risk Management updates, including claims, cost-drivers, trends, trainings, and <br />other developments affecting the County’s insurance portfolio; <br />7. Special reports as requested by the BoCC and/or the Management Team, or initiated <br />by the CSC itself. <br /> <br />II. ENGAGEMENT (See Article 2(2)): <br />2.1 Organizational Impact <br />For projects, programs and/or initiatives that meet any of the below criteria, CSC <br />encourages County management to engage with the Committee prior to committing <br />County resources: <br />a. Impacts multiple departments or offices: Does the topic involve resourcing, <br />operations, or some other commitment from one or more departments or <br />offices? <br />b. Affects County IT resources: Does the topic entail alterations to the County’s <br />technology infrastructure, or otherwise obligate IT staff? <br />c. Entails modification to County facilities: self explanatory <br />d. Alters the County’s risk profile: Does the topic potentially increase/reduce <br />the County’s liability, risk-rating, claims costs, insurance premiums, etc.?
