Communications
Our new Communications Coordinator, Jessica Santos, has hit the ground running, and has
immediately put her communications expertise to work for the department. She is working
diligently on a communications plan for the department, which includes developing strategy
around the way we engage with the public, how our communications build and repair trust,
developing our brand voice for consistency, and guidelines for all of our communications activities.
She is working on a campaign for National Public Health Week in April and has some really fun
ideas that involve staff showing and telling the public what KCPHD does (besides Covid). She has
also made great improvements to our social media presence, including the creation of a KCPHD
Instagram page. If you don't follow us already, please do!
