SAFETY PLAN BRIEFING <br />Cameron Curtis briefed the Board of County Commissioners on the 2025 <br />Kittitas County Local Road Safety Plan. The Washington State <br />Department of Transportation (WSDOT) administers federal funding for <br />safety improvements through the Highway Safety Improvement Program <br />(HSIP). Projects for the Safety Plan are identified by compiling <br />crash data and analyzing the infrastructure around incident sites. <br />Projects are developed utilizing this strategy and ranked by county <br />staff on several conditions. <br />The Safety Plan is used to apply for grant safety funding.
