Staffins Structure <br />Roles and Resoonsibilities <br />Director of Operations <br />Oversisht of Shelter Operations: The Director of Operations holds overall responsibility for the <br />successful operation of the CWS, ensuring that it runs smoothly and in alignment with <br />organizational goals and values. <br />Strategic Planning: Develops and implements long-term strategies to improve shelter services, <br />expand capacity, and address community needs, especially during periods of extreme cold. <br />Budget Management: Oversees the financial aspects of the shelter, ensuring that the program <br />stays within budget, and allocates resources efficiently, including managing donations, grant <br />funding, and other financial support. <br />Staff Supervision and Support: Provides leadership and guidance to the Program Manager and <br />other staff, ensuring they have the resources, training, and support needed to lead the shelter <br />effectively. <br />Compliance and Reportine: Ensures the CWS meets all legal, regulatory, and safety requirements, <br />and provides regular reports to the organization's board, funders, and stakeholders on the <br />shelter's performance and impact. <br />Program Manager <br />Dailv Operations Management: The Program Manager is responsible for overseeing the day-to- <br />day operations of the CWS, including coordinating staff schedules, managing volunteer activities, <br />and ensuring the shelter environment is safe, clean, and welcoming. <br />Staff Coordination and Training: Manages the shelter staff, including employees and volunteers, <br />by organizing training on trauma-informed care, safety protocols, and shelter policies, and <br />providing ongoing support to ensure team effectiveness. <br />5 <br />Version last reviewed on {date}
