Food Services <br />Meal provisions <br />This procedure outlines the steps for providing meals at CWS to ensure guests receive regular, <br />nutritious food each day. lt includes meal timing, types of food served, and coordination with food <br />providers. <br />Morning Snack Preparation and Service <br />1. Retrieve prepackaged breakfast items, such as pastries, granola bars, fruit, and beverages <br />from storage. <br />2. Brew coffee and start hot water for tea <br />3. Set up a designated area for morning snack distribution by 7:00 AM' <br />4. Ensure that food safety protocols are followed during setup, including hand washing and <br />wearing gloves. <br />5. Serve morning snacks to guests between 7:00 AM and 8:00 AM. <br />6. Monitor the distribution area to ensure food is equitably provided to all guests. <br />7. Clean up the area after service is complete. <br />Evening Meal Preparation and Service <br />1. Prepared meals for the evening from storage or arrange pick-up from local restaurants of <br />donated meals. <br />2. Prepare the hot meal (if not pre-prepared) in compliance with food safety standards, <br />including cooking at appropriate temperatures. <br />3. Set up the meal serving area by 7:00 PM, ensuring that all necessary utensils, serving <br />trays, and beverages are available. <br />4. Serve the evening meal between 7:00 PM and 8:00 PM, ensuring food safety measures <br />such as wearing gloves and maintaining cleanliness are followed. <br />5. Ensure that all guests are informed about meal availability and distribute food equitably. <br />6. After meal service, clean and sanitize the serving area and utensils' <br />Food Safety and Hygiene <br />1.
