Page 2 of 2 <br />Information Technology “Study Session Staff Report”, 8/26/24 <br />GIS Technician would give the county the needed staffing support to accomplish the <br />routine tasks required to provide the variety of services essential to GIS stakeholders <br />throughout the organization. This position will also be able to assist in the engineering <br />and maintenance of ArcGIS low-code solutions. <br /> <br />IT has established a business relationship with Pro-West Associates and wishes to <br />continue to leverage their expertise during the migration process to version 11.X of the <br />ArcGIS Enterprise Suite and, to a more limited extent in the future, leverage an escalation <br />path for troubleshooting and solution engineering projects. This will allow IT to be <br />flexible and scale our use of their services to our needs. <br /> <br />The IT department’s goal is to properly staff the GIS program while controlling <br />personnel costs. <br /> <br />FISCAL IMPACTS: <br />Finance and HR were consulted.
