Application Questions: Part 3 <br />4l Collaboration <br />lf your organization collaborates or has created partnerships with other organizations, groups, or other events, how is this <br />accompIished? <br />4.1 Collaboration *The Chamber of Commerce has been a key stakeholder in the formation of the <br />Ellensburg Cultural Arts Alliance and as assisted the city of Ellensburg in the <br />process of becoming a Cerlified Arts District. One of the Alliance's initial goals is to <br />hold a Certified Arts District Summit. The Chamber would be the key partner in that <br />summit. <br />We will continue to pa(ner with lhe Retail and Hospitality Associations. Last yea. <br />a{ter our Retail and Hospitality Summit, we hosled a job fair to support not just thai <br />sector but other business sectors as well. <br />We wi{l continue to use our .esources within the Washington Festivals & Events <br />Associat,on to bring resources to Kittitas County. Though noi yet confirmed, we also <br />see benefil in partnering with the Washington State Fairs Association. Using www.kiititascountychamber,com, <br />www.myellensburg.com, and www.centralwashingtonoutdoor.com, and their <br />associated social media pages we have a very strong meehanism for promoting our <br />local businesses. <br />Locations - Depending on lhe location of our summits, we would actively promote <br />the location and services they provide. These could hotel meeting rooms. other <br />event space, or a combination of both. <br />DininglCatering - Depending on the scope and scale of our events, we have the <br />oppo.tunity to use a number of local dining establishments or cater meals into the <br />summii iiself.
