Response 2.2 *
Apptication Questions : P art. 2
3[ lmpact
Response 3:
Measuring Results*
Describe llre prior soccess of yoilr event/aclivilyilacilrty in atraclioll lourisls.
At the lndependence Day Celebration we average approximately 1200 people over
the course of the daylevening. The event itself has 5 live acts as well as various
contests for the participants to take part in. We continue to keep this event a non-
ticketed eveni with free admission. There is a cost to take part in the beer garden.
lf we choose lo implement a tasting event, we anticipate higher numbers. The
Chamber has experience in hosting these types of events. We would anticipate
offering 300 tickets to this portion of the event and have a htglr success of selling oul
as we have done in our similar styled events.
Our events are largely promoted through the www.centralwashingtonoutdoor.com
website and associated social media pages. Between May l st 2823 and July 4th
2023 we had over 43,000 website visitors - nearly '12,000 were linked to Seaille.
These are just snippets of our reach because of our targeted ads placed through our
digital marketing efforts.
We do feel that it is important for the committee to look holistically al all of the evenis
and activities that happen over Pioneer Days and lndependence Day. The various
events and activities that happen at time simultaneously are an important factor for
the success of each individual event.
2500 character lirnil
Desicribe how you will prornolo yorrr evenLlaclrvilyllacility lo aiiract lourists.
As the events of Pioneer Days and lndependence Day celebration are largely free
admission events, we rely on other means of tracking aitendance. This includes
using the zip code reports from sales, use of aerialldrone photos and visual surveys.
ln the means of marketing and promotion the Chamber will tap into ils slrong
marketing arm to include:
w.ryw.centralwashingtonoutdoor. com
Associated Social Media with Central Washington Outdoor
www. kittitascountychamber, com
Associated Social Media with kittitascouniychamber.com
Collaboration with othe.
