Our aim is to be a central attraction that entices visitors lo stay through the <br />week or arrive on Thursday and provide compelling reasons to extend their stay <br />through the extended weekend. <br />Notably, the success of Pioneer Days is a collaborative endeavor, with numerous <br />organizations and businesses playing vital roles that collectively draw people from <br />across the state. This synergy offers a unique opportunity to underscore the <br />profound community connection between Kittitas County and its cherished visitors- <br />welcoming friends, families, and tourists to share in this vibrant experience. <br />ln partnership with multiple organizations, Pioneer Days offers a number of aciivities. <br />These include a grand palade down 1st Street, an exhilarating 3 on 3 Baskelball <br />Tournament, bustling street markets, a spirited Cornhole tournament, engaging <br />entertainment and activities by the Cle Elum Downtown Association, and offerings <br />from local businesses and organizations, such as Mike's Tavern and the Eagles, <br />which have historically added their events to the feslivities. <br />Chamber specific event features live enlertainment on July 4th at Memorial Park, <br />setting the slage for a memorable experience. We will have a food and beer garden <br />at Memorial Park on July 4th offering good food and refreshments. Families with <br />young ones can enjoy a small Kids Zone and carnival, ensuring inclusivity in the <br />festivities. <br />Our fireworks show on July 4th, subiect to weather conditions and Fire Chief <br />approval, promises to light up the night sky with breathtaking splendor. <br />Furthermore, we are actively exploring ways to incorporate special tributes within <br />our lndependence Day Celebration to honor our military and veterans, who have <br />served our nation with distinction. <br />Lastly, the Chamber, due to its proxirnity, assists in promoting other events in Kittitas <br />County during this period, including the Ronald Heritage Festival and the Roslyn <br />Riders Family Fun Play Day.
