BOARD OF COUNTY COMMSSIONERS <br />COUNTY OF KITTITAS <br />STATE OF WASHINGTON <br />RESOLUTION NO.2024- <br />AUTHORIZING THE SELECTION OF BHC CONSULTANTS AND KIMLEY-HORN FOR <br />ON -CALL ENVIRONMENTAL PLANNING, LONG RANGE PLANNING, CURRENT <br />PLANNING AND WASHINGTON STATE GROWTH MANAGEMENT COMPLIANCE <br />SUPPORT FOR A TWO-YEAR PERIOD AND AUTHORIZE THE COMMUNITY <br />DEVELOPMENT SERVICES DIRECTOR TO NEGOTIATE AND SIGN THE <br />PROFESSIONAL SERVICES AGREEMENT <br />WHEREAS: Community Development Services advertised a Request for Statement of <br />Qualifications in February 2024, for On -Call Environmental Planning, Long Range <br />Planning, Current Planning and Washington State Growth Management Compliance <br />Support; and <br />WHEREAS: Submittals were due on March 8, 2024; and <br />WHEREAS: Four (4) qualified firms submitted their qualifications for review; and <br />WHEREAS: A team of Community Development Services staff reviewed the submittals and <br />recommends BHC Consultants and Kimley-Horn be selected for said Planning <br />Services Support; <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of County Commissioners of Kittitas <br />County, Washington, in the best interest of the public, does hereby select BHC Consultants and <br />Kimley-Horn for On -Call Environmental Planning, Long Range Planning, Current Planning and <br />Washington State Growth Management Compliance Support for a two-year period and authorize the <br />Community Services Director to negotiate and sign the professional services agreement. <br />DATED this 22nd day of April 2024, at Ellensburg, Washington. <br />L 011I177 <br />' Oslo <br />r_ <br />O <br />"III.®C�Y c� the Board- Julie Kjorsvik <br />❑ Deputy Clerk of the Board- Mandy Buchholz <br />BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />KITTITAS COUNTY, WASHINGTON <br />Brettachsmlth, Chairman <br />Cory Wright, Uommissioner <br />
