KITTITAS COUNTY <br />COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT SERVICES <br />2024 STUDY STAFF REPORT <br />STUDY SESSION DATE: April 22, 2024 <br />ACTION REQUESTED: Request to Approve a Resolution to Select BHC <br />Consultants and Kimley-Horn for Task Order Planning <br />Support Contracts and Authorize the Community Services <br />Director to Negotiate and Sign Contracts. <br />BACKGROUND: Community Development Services (CDS) solicited for <br />planning support services task order contracts in February <br />2024. An internal selection committee has selected BHC <br />Consultants and Kimley-Horn for task order contracts. The <br />enabling legislation authorizes the CDS Director to <br />negotiate fees and to sign the contracts. <br />INTERACTION: Public Works. <br />RECOMMENDATION: Approve the Resolution to award task order contracts for <br />planning support services to BHC Consultants and Kimley- <br />Horn and authorize the CDS Director to negotiate fees and <br />to sign the contracts. <br />HANDLING: Return one original to Community Development Services. <br />ATTACHMENTS: Resolution. <br />LEAD STAFF: Chad Bala, Director. <br />
